Peony Ho

Peony believes that rhythm can be soft. That the most meaningful things often begin in stillness.

 

Her creative practice didn’t grow from urgency or ambition—but from a quiet longing to pause. To breathe. To return. After years in structured, high-paced environments, she turned toward the handmade, the natural, the slow. Candle-making became her sanctuary. From there, scent became language, and scent became home.

 

Peony’s path spans finance, institutions, and creative communities. She has worked at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Standard Chartered Bank, the Hong Kong Association of Banks, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, i-CABLE Communications Ltd., and within cultural and design platforms such as the Centre for Garment Production and Hong Kong Federation of Design Associations. These experiences became her foundation—teaching her how to move with both precision and intuition, logic and poetry.

 

She founded Bluuuu Design Lab and Miris Studio as two quiet responses to the world:

One, a scent-based design lab rooted in nature and cultural rhythm.

The other, a still space where fragrance becomes ritual and emotion finds form.

 

Every element—from scent blending to packaging, writing to product design—is guided by Peony’s own hands, her own breath. She works only in small batches, using natural materials and honest processes. Nothing loud. Nothing rushed. Just work that speaks softly and stays.

 

To her, fragrance isn’t about trend or luxury.

It’s about presence.

A way of marking time. A way of returning.

 

Peony creates not to impress—but to hold space.
